Please complete the form below, following the instructions given. Applications close 5pm GMT Monday 7 July 2025. Submitted applications will be assessed by a Jury of distinguished artists and curators in July 2025. Applications are reviewed by a jury panel according to the following criteria:
- Level of teaching experience.
- Level of maturity and ability to work as part of a team.
- Extent to which drawing informs the artist's practice.
- Quality of residency proposal: clarity of artistic vision as articulated in the artist statement and work.
- Willingness to work in a challenging environment and make the most of the opportunities offered by the residency.
Residency dates:
- Group travel, 20 Sept - 5 Oct 2025(2 weeks)
- Teaching (Monday - Friday) 6 Oct - 20 December 2025 (11 weeks)
- Farwell party at IIFA, 20 December 2025
- Return to UK or independent travel, 21 December 2025
The IIFA residency is open to Royal Drawing School Drawing Year Alumni, who have graduated from the Drawing Year in the last 10 years. To be eligible to apply you must have at least one year of teaching experience.
